Ernst Gesslbauer

Ernst Gesslbauer, OeAD – Austria’s Agency for Education and Internationalisation, has been Director of the Erasmus+ Programme in Austria since 2007. Mr Gesslbauer frequently cooperates with national and international policy-makers, stakeholders, and expert groups to create, establish and further develop opportunities for learning mobilities and cooperation in education, training, youth and sport in Europe. As a law student at the University of Graz Ernst Gesslbauer took part in the Erasmus programme himself at the universities of Sheffield, UK, and Ghent, Belgium. He also worked for the European Commission at the Directorate-General for Education and Culture.
