The Europe Talks Solidarity Conference offered a space for a dialogue around the understanding of solidarity and its connection to active participation in democratic life in Europe.

Thank you for joining us for this memorable event!

The second residential edition of Europe Talks Solidarity brought together experts to deepen the understanding of the potential of solidarity in the past, present, and future, as well as its value for democracy.

Europe Talks Solidarity aimed to gather around 50 individuals from various fields, all interested in the topic of solidarity. Participants were selected based on their interest in dialogues around solidarity, their connection to the topic, and the representation of as diverse sectors as possible.

The event offered an overview of solidarity with a special focus on, but not restricted to, the youth field. It presented different perspectives on solidarity by bringing in external experts to provoke critical thinking around its understanding and by providing a space for open dialogue. Part of the program was dedicated to sharing the experiences and expertise of participants.

The topic of solidarity was also closely connected with participation in democratic life, as well as social and civic engagement through formal or non-formal learning activities.

The focus of the event was to increase awareness and better understanding of the EU's common values
